Updating Firmware

So, I’m not sure why I decided to try this but I updated the firmware on my Keyboard by dropping the firmware I found here: https://adafruit-circuit-python.s3.amazonaws.com/bin/makerdiary_m60_keyboard/en_US/adafruit-circuitpython-makerdiary_m60_keyboard-en_US-6.0.0-rc.0.uf2

The keyboard updated. Boot.txt reads: “Adafruit CircuitPython 6.0.0-rc.0 on 2020-10-16; Makerdiary M60 Keyboard with nRF52840.” But the keyboard is now unresponsive. How would I go about either reinstalling the older firmware or making the new firmware work with my keyboard?

Nevermind. It appears that I have figured out a way of getting back to the firmware. Had to drop

import microcontroller as mcu
mcu.on_next_reset(mcu.RunMode.BOOTLOADER)
mcu.reset()

into the code.py file and then use the process for doing a factory reset. Thought I had lost all my changes but realized I still had an editor open with my customized copy of code.py. Phew!

Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend updating the firmware using the files from the CircuitPython site.
